A few weeks ago dear Meg auctioned off a beautiful doll to raise money for Newtown. As a family we hadn't given any money yet to those affected by the tragedy and this seemed like the perfect way to give...and receive.
When we walked up the steps to the house tonight there was a box on the steps. "I didn't order anything from KnitPicks. What's this? Oh, it's the doll!" We opened her up and you could just feel the love pour out. She's absolutely beautiful, Meg. The girls noticed right away that you had knit her sweater! They looked over every bit of her commenting on her hair and her dress and feet. The littlest hasn't set her down. We've quickly fallen in love with sweet Mollie. Thanks for sending her our way!
