Good morning, friends. First off, thank you for your kind words after my last post. Folks certainly have very, very hard lives and I hope to offer a little light and facilitate some change. Your encouragement is most appreciated.
I went to Les Miserables last night. How can I be 37 and have not seen that show or read the book?! I loved it. I've been sing Do You Hear the People sing over and over again. Have you read this book? Is it worthwhile?
The eldest is sick with a little stomach bug. He seems fine this morning, but he'll have a pajama and movie day today which means we all do- minus the middle who will go to preschool.
I plan to knit and read and drink my favorite tea. Maybe we'll make a fire, too.
Wishing you a wonderful start of your week.
Hope he feels better soon and that everyone else escapes it! Enjoy the pajama/ movie day!
ReplyDeleteYes indeed... hope he feels better soon. In the meantime, hope you were enjoying the extra time at home with the kids. The tea looks yummy, though I'm sipping a glass of rioja before bed right now. :)
ReplyDeleteI bet the day did wonders for him. Hope you're all enjoying the pj day. My dad said reading Les Mis wasn't worth it. There's a lot of boring stuff in there. The show/movie is better!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a bit of relaxation today. The Snow Child came in and I picked it up from the library this afternoon-can't wait to start it tonight!
ReplyDeleteI hope no one else gets the bug! I've read Les Miserables, but haven't seen the movie...yet.
ReplyDeleteEveryone has been getting a bug since the start of 2013. I hope we all get over it soon!
ReplyDeleteTea and knitting sounds like a plan to me
I just saw that the Okee Dokee brothers are going to be at Wild Rumpus bookstore on Sat. Feb. 16. Thought you might be interested-at least I think it was you that posted about listening to them! :)
ReplyDeleteI know! Unfortunately we're going to be out of town that weekend. I e-mailed them to see if they would do a house concert. Fingers crossed! Happy long weekend!
